Wedding Photographer Martinborough It may be early spring and the wedding season not into full swing, but I am still busy working away on albums from last season. One of the best parts of the job for me is getting back the finished wedding album and seeing the story come together. I never want to send them off! Martinborough Winter Wedding So everyone is talking about spring and summer being on the way, but if you have just got engaged and everything is booking for the coming summer, how about a winter wedding? The great thing about winter is that you are more likely to find the suppliers you like are available and also the light is awesome! Rebecca and Murray were married in Martinborough in June and it was a lovely winters day. Don't they look stunning?

The lovely Kirsty & Sam were married on a lovely November day in Martinborough. The awesome peeps at Olivo, Martinborough were kind enough to let us use their stunning olive grove for the photo-shoot. I through the grove was the perfect backdrop for Kirsty & Sam's wedding shoot.
I received a lovely email recently from one of my couples' after delivering their finished album. The finished album is what its all about and these guys now have an amazing story of their day which they will one day be able to share with their children and grandchildren. Wedding photography is about so much more than just the wedding day. "It arrived (the album)and oh my god we are so happy! It is even more beautiful then we thought and our family can't believe how amazing it is! Thank you so much Sharisse, these were the kind of photos I was dreaming of and they couldn't have been more perfect! I have been meaning to post these photos for a while now......! I had the pleasure of photographing Anita & Mark's wedding not once, but twice. The first at Murduch James Estate, Martinborough, NZ and the second at Hornsbury Mill, Chard UK. Here are the resulting albums.
I love Autumn weddings! The light is lovely, the colours divine, its not too hot and you can be creative with stylish ways to keep warm! Tarureka Estate, just outside of Featherston in the Wairarapa is a perfect venue for weddings in the colder months. Firstly of all, the rooms of the homestead and cottage have the perfect backdrop for the getting ready in. If the weather is fine, the garden is a lovely location to hold the ceremony and if the sun gods aren't coming out to play when the loft above the old barn is a stunning and unique alternative. Autumn trees are just stunning for the formal photographs and if you start to get a bit chilly, the homestead has some great indoor areas for photography. I think in Sarah & Mitch's you can really see what a great day you can have with an autumn wedding!
The lovely Lara and Andrew were married at St Andrews Church in Martinborough, followed by a reception at Coney Wines. We made the most of lovely interior of the Martinborough Hotel for Lara's getting ready shots before heading of to the ceremony. We put together this lovely 10x14 inch Queensberry album in the Classic Matted Style. This album was so lovely I didn't want to hand it over! Check it out!
Jess & Chris were married in a stunning ceremony at Brackenridge, Martinborough. The garden was looked amazing with trees lining the aisle and the wonderful yellows used throughout the wedding.
