The idea was to have a big party with their friends and family, which happened to have a wedding ceremony for a short time. Luna Estate Blue Rock Wedding - Katrina & Sam Autumn is a magical time of year, and it was no exception on Sam and Katrina's wedding day at Luna Estate, Blue Rock Vineyard. The stunning vineyard provided a picturesque backdrop for their special day, as family and friends gathered to celebrate their love. Katrina spoke about how excited she was for this day, as it was all about them as a family. She expressed her hope that the day would be fun with a happy and relaxed atmosphere. Sam and Katrina first met at a party of a mutual friend when Katrina was 17 and Sam was 19. They have been together ever since and have not spent longer than two weeks apart. The couple had planned every detail of their big day, from the gorgeous floral arrangements to the delicious menu. Unfortunately, their original photographer was unable to attend the wedding, so just a few weeks before the big day I was asked to photograph their day for them. Tal & Aiden - Martinborough Town Hall Love stories come in all shapes and sizes, and Tal and Aiden's is a beautiful one. They first met three years ago, and on the same day, three years later, Aiden proposed to Tal. It was a romantic gesture that set the tone for their upcoming wedding, which was originally planned for March 2022 but had to be brought forward due to Covid-19. Aiden's proposal was simple but heartfelt. They spent the day doing all the things they did on their first date, including going for coffee at Raglan Roast and checking out some live music at the Wellington Street Festival Cupa Dupa. At a lifestyle session, we will go with the flow, with the images are a lot more candid. If you are looking to tell more of a story, and also the option of an album, then this style of photography lends itself to that format really well. Sarah is a documentary photographer herself, so she always knew that that this was the way she would like her family to be photographed. Its always nerve wrecking/flattering/daunting when another photographer ask you to photograph them! I was so thrilled that Sarah chose me to tryst with their precious new-born images. I hope yo enjoy the images as much as I enjoying photographing them!
