Tironui Farm, Martinborough Wedding Photography – Jo & Sophie

2021-08-26T12:22:13+12:00

Tironui Farm, Martinborough Wedding Photography - Jo & Sophie To say that I enjoyed photographing this wedding was an understatement. These two girls are just so awesome to be around - they instantly felt like friends. They wanted their wedding be relaxed and the most important thing was that all their guests had a good time - a fun day hanging out with all the people who are special to them Anyway, I could go on but I will let the pictures do the talking. Sharisse x

Wairarapa Newborn Photographer – What do they say about working with Children & Animals?

2021-08-25T14:13:48+12:00

Wairarapa Newborn Photographer - What do they say about working with Children & Animals? They do say to never work with both! But, luckily for me I had a super sleepy baby, two exceptionally well behaved dogs and also a good chunk of photoshop compositing to put the last image together. Just to make it clear - in reality, no babies where balanced on a saddle, on a stool with two dogs either side! Just a lot of editing to put it all togther. Enjoy!

Silverstream Retreat Wedding Photography – Lynne & Barry

2021-08-26T12:39:34+12:00

Silverstream Retreat Wedding Photography - Lynne & Barry Lynn & Barry had been together for over 16, so it was time to time the knot! I was lucky enough that I had met Lynne & Barry previously through Barry's daughter so was absolutely delighted to be asked to photograph their day. They wanted it it be relaxed, informal and about the family celebrating together. I think they mailed that perfectly with their morning wedding and afternoon BBQ back at home. The thing I loved most about this wedding was that the bridal party was their adult children along with their granddaughters. How special is that?! And so much fun to photograph. Much love Sharisse x

The Landing Wedding Venue – Becca & Steve

2021-03-26T12:48:01+13:00

The Landing Wedding Venue - Becca & Steve Where do I start? Such a beautiful, perfect day.  The one thing that Steve and Becca really wanted, was to be able to spend as much time with their guests as possible. The photos were super important to them, but like many couples they didn't want to be away from their guests for too long and wanted plenty of time to hang out with their bridal party. I am totally on the same page with this - weddings are all about sharing your day with the people that mean the most to you. The plan was to get ready early and then have a grazing platter for lunch at the brides parent's lifestyle block, with time just hanging out, relaxing and chatting with their best friends. I got plenty of candid images before a quick 20mins taking some more formal photos. [...]

Wharekauhau Wedding – Pete & Sam

2021-03-24T14:16:10+13:00

Wharekauhau Wedding - Pete & Sam Back to where it all began. Pete proposed to Sam up at the lookout at Wharekuhau Lodge, so it was only fitting that they would invite their close friends and family back to Wharekauhau for an intimate get together to celebrate their wedding day. The 'Wild coast Track' lived up to its name and we were treated to dramatic stormy skies and a wild wind that is the making of this rugged coastline. Thanks for braving the weather with me to get these images full of fun and drama! Thanks for having me along to share in your special day. xx
