Tarureka Estate Wedding Photography - Sam & Jennifer Sometimes less is more. Sam & Jennifer kept their beautiful Tarureka Estate wedding very simple and low key. Just a small group of close friends and family celebrating at a beautiful location. These guys asked me to shoot for  just a few hours, which was plenty to cover everything they wanted. Wellington Family Photographer - Queensberry Album   This family came to see me with their goal being to capture the characters of their children at this age and also the relationships between them all. To tell their story we opted to take a few images in the studio and then head outside for a chance to play around and have some fun. Its hard to pick a  single frame from this shoot for the wall, and sessions like this lend themselves to being presented as a story told  through an album. We put together this gorgeous Queensberry album to document this special time in their lives, which I know these guys will cherish for many years to come.

Firstly, you tend to get your pick of vendors over the quieter months. Less competition for available dates, less stress. You can also get great deals in the off season. Lacewood Wedding Photographer - Jess & Daniel I love an autumn wedding! The light is lovely and soft, the colours of the trees are stunning and its a great excuse to choose a cosey venue for a fun party with your guests. Jess & Daniel were married in the garden at Lacewood, at Tuhitarata Estate back in May followed up by a reception in the cosey in site barn. It was four seasons in one day! From sunshine to hail, we had it all. I absolutely loved working with Jess & Daniel - so much fun and so relaxed and such beautiful families. Kapiti Coast Wedding Photographer - Tim & Cath's Sudbury Farm Wedding I really do love shooting weddings over on the Kapiti Coast, even if it is a bit of a long trip from the Wairarapa. I was thrilled when Cath & Tim asked me to photograph their wedding over at Sudbury Farm in Te Horo. I had heard lots about this venue, but was yet to photograph there so was super excited the day of the wedding! Cath & Tim had planned a lovely relaxed wedding surrounded by friends and family - they were all involved, even the family dog wanted to get involved! Martinborough Wedding Photographer - Jono & Bridget Given the summer we have had, this was one of the rare occasions when the sun did shine! Another wonderful Wairarapa wedding. Jono & Bridget were married out on Jono's family farm out the back of Martinborough. The day had a rustic, relaxed feel and for Bridget & Jono it was all about family. Everyone was involved - all  7 of the nieces and nephews and even Bridget's two horses! A few weeks before the wedding I went out for a recce and Bridget & Jono took me up to some hills at the back of the property and I knew it would be the prefect spot for some photographs. Masterton Wedding Photographer - Eva & Jamie I first met Eva a couple of years ago as a Bridesmaid at a wedding I was photographing. When she emailed a year later to say she was getting married and could I be the photographer, I was thrilled! Eva & Jamie are such a cool couple.
