Winter is such a fabulous time for family photographs! Don't be put of by the cold weather - its a great excuse to rug up and enjoy some of that beautiful, soft winter light! I have photographed this gorgeous family a few time s now - each when their boys were newborns. This time, it was time for something different so we went for a documentary approach to their family photographs - which was great for giving their two energetic boys lots of space and time to run around and have fun! Living on a  lifestyle block that we had the perfect backdrop for their session. Sharisse x

Wairarapa Family Photographer - April & Family April had just recently moved over to the Wairarapa from Wellington and wanted some updated family photographs, but also to celebrate their new adventure as a family. So I thought what better place than to head down to one my favorite local summer spots. Its such a gorgeous wee camping area with a  beautiful river  & swimming hole, just as the river exits the ranges. The cool thing was these guys hadn't been there before so it was awesome to introduce them to some of Featherston's best assets. :) I reckon there might be few trips down here once summer returns!
