Newborn Lifestyle Session – Wairarapa Photographer

2023-01-18T17:58:27+13:00

Newborn Lifestyle Sessions - Wairarapa Family Photographer Along with my studio sessions, I have the option of more documentary approach to your photography session. At a lifestyle session, we will go with the flow, with the images are a lot more candid. If you are looking to tell more of a story, and also the option of an album, then this style of photography lends itself to that format really well. Sarah is a documentary photographer herself, so she always knew that that this was the way she would like her family to be photographed. Its always nerve wrecking/flattering/daunting when another photographer ask you to photograph them! I was so thrilled that Sarah chose me to tryst with their precious new-born images. I hope yo enjoy the images as much as I enjoying photographing them!

Wairarapa Newborn Photographer – What do they say about working with Children & Animals?

2021-08-25T14:13:48+12:00

Wairarapa Newborn Photographer - What do they say about working with Children & Animals? They do say to never work with both! But, luckily for me I had a super sleepy baby, two exceptionally well behaved dogs and also a good chunk of photoshop compositing to put the last image together. Just to make it clear - in reality, no babies where balanced on a saddle, on a stool with two dogs either side! Just a lot of editing to put it all togther. Enjoy!

Wairarapa Family Photographer – Chloe and family

2019-12-10T15:58:31+13:00

Wairarapa Family Photographer - Chloe and Family It that time of year when you can really make the most of outdoor photography sessions. Chloe contacted me as it was important for her to have some natural, relaxed, documentary style images of he family. She really wanted them taken outdoors, so I suggested that my lifestyle portrait session would be a perfect fit for her. We opted for Henley Lake in Masterston so that the girls had plenty of space to run around and explore. :)

Newborn Photographer Wairarapa – Jen & Family

2019-09-13T03:22:59+12:00

Its always a pleasure to catch up with my families and meet their new additions. Jan and Andrew came along to see me with Elsie, and this time it was Bryn's turn in the limelight. I really loved seeing how Elsie was such a loving and protective big sister. Sharisse x

Wairarapa Newborn Photographer – Meet Jett!

2018-06-15T04:25:20+12:00

Wairarapa Newborn Photographer - Meet Jett! It the second time I have photographed this lovely family. Little Mr Fox now has a new brother. Its taken a little getting used to but I think they will firm friends in no time! Gorgeous Jett is the spitting image of his big brother as a baby - many with a touch less hair! Jett's mum brought in a beautiful hand knitted blanket for him to be photographed on. It was so warm and snuggly - perfect for these winter nights! NZIPP Iris Awards 2017

2017-06-30T01:56:29+12:00

NZIPP Iris Awards 2017   After entering the NZIPP Iris Awards last  year, for the first time again in years I was a little nervous entering again! I had set myself a target, so it was a little scarier then last year when I was just happy to get any award! The New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography  has a honors system, where you work your way up over the years depending on how many points you have  in total and how many you earned within a 4 year period through the awards. Because I have been a bit sporadic with my entries over the years, I had never achieved the required points within the timeframe to work my way up. So, after last year gaining 6 bronzes, I knew I need at least four more bronzes to get me the Associate level. And if I dared to dream big, I [...]
