A few weeks go I headed up just north of Masterton for a very special engagement shoot. Katrina and Regan live in Hawkes Bay and are planning their wedding here, but Katrina’s family are from the Wairarapa and her family home holds a special place in her heart. On a recent trip down to collect their engagement ring, they decided that it would a great idea to have a few special photographs in her family garden, as they wouldn’t be able to do this for their wedding photographs. Once I arrived I could see why they were so keen to have a shoot there – this garden is just stunning! There are so many little nooks and crannies to explore…..I really could have photographed there all day! We were blessed with a gorgeous autumn afternoon and I think the images really reflect how these guys feel about each other. We even had their lovely furry friend Riley along – he was a pro photo-bomber! All the very best for your wedding guys!
