I offer of range of package options and payment plans to suit your needs.

Framed prints, Canvas, Albums, loose prints – however you would like to display your images I have a solution to suit your needs. I will walk you through the process, so that you end up with images that you will love, displayed in a way that suits your home and lifestyle.

STUDIO SESSIONS

I love to concentrate on capturing the relationships between family members – capturing simple classic images that reflect you and your family. Typically with family shoots I will photograph the whole family, then parent and child shots focusing on capturing relationships, sibling shots and then individual images of the children.

Studio sessions are $150 which covers my time and skills for the shoot and also the viewing session.

After this, the cost depends on what you would like to end up with. My print prices start from $75 for the 5×7 inch prints and go up $430 for the large wall prints. I also have a great range of digital packages starting at $950.

Lifestyle Sessions

Lifestyle session are approached in a different way to studio sessions. It is a more relaxed, fluid way of capturing your family with the emphasis on telling stories about your family and the things you like to do. We will usually photography these sessions at an outdoor location that is special the your family, and will go with the flow with what the children want to do!

These types of shoots lend themselves to be presented as an album so that you can tell the story of your family adventure. Many clients will opt to have an album with a couple of key images for their wall.

Lifestyle session start form $950 for the session and high resolution files available for download via your own personal gallery, with the option of adding on albums or wall art.

WHAT TO EXPECT

WHEN TO COME

There really is no time like the present, there will always be reason not to, if you look for it.

If you are looking at specific shoots then certain timeframes are good.

For example –

Pregnancy shoot – best done between 30 and 35 weeks when you have a good size bump but yet you are still able to get around easily and are not too tired.
Newborn shoots – these are best when your new baby is under two weeks old. Between 4 and 10days old is ideal, particularly if you are wanting the lovely sleepy curly newborn shots.
Babies – there are certain stages which are a real treat to photograph. Between 5 and 7 months is great – when they can sit with support or unaided but are yet to crawl or walk. This is a good stage to get lots of expression. Around 9/10 months old is one of my favorite stages. By now their little personality is really starting to shine and we can get some super cute photographs.

WHEN TO COME - CONT.....

Toddlers – between the ages of 18 months to 2 1/2 years can be some of the most demanding but also most rewarding years as a parent. They will make me run around after them and work hard for the images, but you can be assured that the photographs will be well worth it! The smile and the reaction you get at this age are just the most genuine!
Preschoolers – your littlies will have their own personalities and options well formed by now and will probably let me know! It’s great to bring along anything that they love to the shoot and this can help them to really get into it.
School age children – don’t stop taking family photographs just because the kids have a grown a little older. This is a magic time to photograph your family when we can capture the relationships between everyone.
Teenagers – these shoots can be some of the best. It won’t be long before the kids are off and doing their own thing but family is still the core and it’s a great time to celebrate this. At this time we can really make the most of their interests and hobbies and build this into the shoot.

WHAT TO WEAR

Simple is best – avoid large logos as this can distract form the face.

For studio portraits a selection of darker and lighting clothing is great. It can also be helpful to bring of bright bold colours in complimentary hues.

For outside portraits, plain clothing again works well.

If there are a few subjects being photographed then ensure that everyone complements each other and everyone is dressed as if they are going to the same place.

If children has any special toys or dress-ups feel free to bring these along.

If you are having trouble bring a selection of clothing and I can help you with the selection.

BOOKING A SESSION

Give me a call and we make a time for your session.

Sessions are generally available Weds -Fri and alternative weekends by appointment. Due the limited number of weekends/Eveneing that I work, I recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.

The session fee includes the photography session and viewing appointment.

The photography session will take between 45 mins to 1.5 hours depending on the age of family members.

Newborns can take longer (up to 3hrs) as we need to allow for feeding, sleeping and anything else they might like to do!

VIEWING YOUR IMAGES

At your session we will arrange a time for you to come back to the studio to view your images.

I will show you a slideshow to give you an overview of your photographs and we will then go about selecting which ones are your favourites.

Don’t worry if you think it may be hard to choose – I have some awesome software that makes the selection process a doddle!

From your selection of favourite images, we will then put together the order for your portraits.
