Martinborough Wedding – Mallory & Anton

Autumn weddings – I reckon its one the best times for a wedding! In terms of photography, you get the best of everything. Daytime shots, sunset images, and its not too late to get some night images too! Plus its not so hot and the light is softer. What’s not to love? And what’s not to love about this stylish wedding.

These guys loved my milkyway images, so trying to get a shot was high on their priority list. Even after letting them know that the only time we could do it was from 7.15-8.15pm – right in the middle of the reception! (just due to milkway visibility and moonrise). So not only did we have a limited time frame, but also had to cross fingers and toes for good, clear weather and no wind! haha, not much to ask when you get just one chance to get it?! luckily the weather gods were on our side, so off we went in the middle of the reception. Not sure I was the caterers favourite person, but we did prewarn them a few months before and I had let them know it was at the brides request! Thanks guys for being awesome sports to get one of these magic shots – I reckon its well worth it!
