The Landing Wedding Venue – Becca & Steve
Where do I start? Such a beautiful, perfect day.
The one thing that Steve and Becca really wanted, was to be able to spend as much time with their guests as possible. The photos were super important to them, but like many couples they didn’t want to be away from their guests for too long and wanted plenty of time to hang out with their bridal party. I am totally on the same page with this – weddings are all about sharing your day with the people that mean the most to you.
The plan was to get ready early and then have a grazing platter for lunch at the brides parent’s lifestyle block, with time just hanging out, relaxing and chatting with their best friends. I got plenty of candid images before a quick 20mins taking some more formal photos. After that it was all documentary style shooting with exception to the family shots (super important in years to come) and then another quick 10mins taking a few shots around the venue.
Some of you in the wedding industry locally will recognize Steve Thompson – the brides father and also their celebrant. So just to not confuse the Steve’s Dad is 1.0 and the groom is 2.0! How awesome is it to have your father as your celebrant? Very special
