Last minute wedding planning – Sam & Michael
Sam contacted me around two weeks before the date they were planning on having their midweek wedding.
It was a last minute decision for herself and Micheal. As we were checking out the stunning lakeside location for their ceremony, she told me that they had been engaged for a while now and although they had put plans in place for a wedding before, things just kept coming up which would put pay to it all! So they decided to ditch the idea of a big wedding and opted for just a small gathering of just their closest family and friends. And the decided that the sooner the better!
Luckily Sam and her bridesmaid already had their dresses, the location was a beautiful spot on the farm where Micheal works and they would have a dinner at home afterwards. The only things to do was to let everyone know and then organise the celebrant and photographer!
Being a midweek wedding I was available and jumped at the chance to work with Sam & Micheal. I really love this type of wedding as being planned in such a short time-frame everything was very relaxed and easygoing. Being February they opted for a later 5.30pm ceremony, which meant by the time we headed off for their photoshoot, the light was just lovely!
Sam & Micheal, thank you so much for having me along to photograph your special day! xxx
