Brackenridge, Martinborough Wedding Photography – Andrew & Rachael

Brackenridge Country Estate in Martinborough is one of my favourite venues to photograph at. Rachael and Andrew choose this lovely spot for their wedding day celebrations back in December. As part of Rachael’s work she plans events and it showed in the attention to detail throughout the wedding! Because of Rachael’s meticulous planning the whole day went without a hitch – the only person who didn’t get the memo was the Wairarapa weather gods and we were blessed with the wind! It didn’t seem to faze anyone though!

The day was very special for Rachael and Andrew – they spend a lot of their time travelling with work so its not often that both families get together. Rachael comes from a family of four girls – being the last one to get married. So, who better to have as your bridesmaids than your three sisters who have their own wedding experiences to help add to the mix! Andrew had his trusted friends by his side who flew in the NZ to support him on his special day.

Just when I thought the day couldn’t be any more special, as part of their speeches Rachael and Andrew had a very special announcement which had all the guests up and cheering. There were tears of joy from the whole room (including me!) Anyway that announcement is for a different post….. you will have to wait and see!
