Based in the Wairarapa, Sharisse Eberlein is an emerging contemporary artist. Taking a conceptual, multidisciplinary approach, her practice evolves and changes along with the experience of navigating her personal narratives.

Originally from Cornwall, UK, Sharisse immigrated to Aotearoa in 2002 with her New Zealand-born husband. Along with her two teenage sons, Featherston is where the whanau considers their tūrangawaewae.

Starting out at Art School back in 1996 with a focus on Fine Art Textiles, Sharisse went on to complete a HND in Photography at Plymouth College of Art and Design. After a 20-year career as a photographer, Sharisse has chosen to return to her first love – Fine Art, recently completing the GDip in Fine Art at Massey University, Wellington.
